So, a wiki

If you have not noticed, there is now a (very new and crappy) wiki on the site.

The purpose of the wiki is three fold:

  1.  To provide a place for me to store notes and develop backstory and technology that I cannot shoehorn into an existing story but I require to build on. Some of the stuff is boring, other pieces just don’t need a place in the actual storyline and don’t fit in the documents.
  2.  A place where a few other people can help me develop ideas and extensions for the story — in particular, my beta, Liethr, my co-author Progman, my primary feedback reader Michael1110 and the three or four readers I like to gank ideas from (AlexN7, NonSolus, RED78910, metaladdict, NarwhalWarlord, and Lay Down Hunter mostly)
  3.  A place where I can store notes without the worry of losing all my goddamned work, which has happened more than once.  I mean, seriously, what the fuck is the point of a RAID if both segments fail at the same fucking time?

Anyway. I doubt I will spend much time on it — ten minutes here and there at work every day adds up though. I can’t really get any writing done at work but I can build little bits of lore and backstory.

Working on the Naruto stuff now, to give my brain a rest.  I’ll probably have another chapter of ATTWN to the betas by this weekend, and maybe more of No Single Raindrop as well. I MAY (no promises) get done with the research on batarian history this weekend, depends.

Finally got more art moving through the pipeline.

The first set is from TheLivingShadow, who will be doing a series of panels covering Systems Alliance uniforms and armor. Leading off with the SA’s enlisted / junior / senior uniform distribution.

From left to right, that’s a corporal, a Lieutenant, and an Admiral of the Red.

Delays in “And Then There Were None”

Since some of you have been asking …right now, the next chapter is still in review by my co-author.

Nothing in ATTWN goes out until he has a chance to tell me why it sucks. So far, nine times out of ten the shitfuckery I had written before was nothing compared to how good it was after his input.

I will be updating the Cerberus Files : Aliens, the Cerberus Files : Humanity and maybe Lions and Blue and Silver later on today or definitely by Tuesday. Right now, ETA on the next chapter of ATTWN is Tuesday – Wednesday — Progman has a lot of shit on his plate more important than fanfiction.

New Content to Older Works

I’ll be doing the following:

  • Slowly re-writing several chapters to provide more details in OSABC including “Wrex”, “Liara”, and “Cole”.
  • A series of interviews and short stories in the Biotic Encyclopedia with various biotics from various races
  • Cleaning up “The Best Father” a bit, to make it easier to read.
  • Going over some unclear things in the Cerberus Files: Aliens in regards to asari.

This won’t all get done at once or even quickly, but it will be happening as I find the time and energy to do it.

Some redesigns

I’ve cleaned up the menus to properly organize my various works. I’ll also be putting up download links to the full (not broken up by chapter) versions here soon.

I plan to get more art done (the Kazan needs a painting, so do my new OC’s and Liara in an Alliance Uniform.) I also plan to do a series on how I’ve developed the series, and the highlight some conversations in PM between myself and Progman that go over some of the subtle nature of OSABC.

I’ll also be putting up some ideas about the batarians and would appreciate feedback on those.
