My vehicle was damaged when a truck backed into it. On top of that my back issues are acting up again.
I haven’t gotten but a few thousand words written on the next chapter, but the outline is done. I’ll update when things calm down, I guess, or when my back allows. I might do some more small pieces if I feel like it.

It’s about 10k words so far, and progress, while a bit slow, is a lot faster than on the previous chapter.
My back is not being cooperative, but I am working steadily towards getting this chapter out as soon as I can. So far, so good.
(Editing Gang Ninja Edit: this stupid bastard sat on his ass drunk for months without writing until we went to his house and beat the update out of him. Don’t listen to his lies.)

I was a lot picker in the exact stance and proportions I wanted, as the ME model guy looked … off. I got exactly what I envisioned.
As you know, I recently mentioned art being done. The first piece, that of Galen Minsta, is ready.
I’m aware an artist already produced a work for this, but there were issues with the design, the presentation and other aspects that made it unsatisfactory.

After several… misadventures, I’ve decided to go ahead and simply have Armesan (original artist who did the Shepard, Benezia and Liara artwork) to do a set of colored art prints for iconic characters in the PremiseVerse.
The first lineup (already paid for by the kind donators of the Patreon) would be Ahern, Dragunov, and a re-do of Galen Minsta as some were not … pleased with the result.
The next ones would probably be Pel, Admiral Vandefar, and either Uressa T’Shora, Maxwell Manswell, or possibly Richard Williams.
All previous artists are either not taking commissions, no longer available, or unsatisfactory, with the exception of LuckyFK who is simply busy, I think. I may reach out to him if he has time to perform another commission later in the year.
As I have mentioned in the chat, if you know any artists or animators who are available on commission and do sci-fi type work I would be interested in them.
Please make sure they do have an active DeviantArt account, as I have now had multiple run ins with people attempting to use other’s art as their own, and the DA community routinely seems to rat these types out.
