Lack of updates
Sorry haven’t been around much, mother is going through a lot of medical issues right now and work is also crazy.
I’ve gotten some commissioned art done I’ll put up this weekend but it will be sometime before I do any updates to any stories.
So, a wiki
If you have not noticed, there is now a (very new and crappy) wiki on the site.
The purpose of the wiki is three fold:
- To provide a place for me to store notes and develop backstory and technology that I cannot shoehorn into an existing story but I require to build on. Some of the stuff is boring, other pieces just don’t need a place in the actual storyline and don’t fit in the documents.
- A place where a few other people can help me develop ideas and extensions for the story — in particular, my beta, Liethr, my co-author Progman, my primary feedback reader Michael1110 and the three or four readers I like to gank ideas from (AlexN7, NonSolus, RED78910, metaladdict, NarwhalWarlord, and Lay Down Hunter mostly)
- A place where I can store notes without the worry of losing all my goddamned work, which has happened more than once. I mean, seriously, what the fuck is the point of a RAID if both segments fail at the same fucking time?
Anyway. I doubt I will spend much time on it — ten minutes here and there at work every day adds up though. I can’t really get any writing done at work but I can build little bits of lore and backstory.
Working on the Naruto stuff now, to give my brain a rest. I’ll probably have another chapter of ATTWN to the betas by this weekend, and maybe more of No Single Raindrop as well. I MAY (no promises) get done with the research on batarian history this weekend, depends.
State of the Premiseverse (Nov 2014)
Is as follows:
- OSABC I is done. I’ve revamped it up to chapter 12 and will do another 15 or so chapters when I grind to a halt in ATTWN.
- OSABC II just finished with the outline document. This still has to be revised, and there is no ETA on that.
- ATTWN is being worked on, the next two chapters. Arc I is about done, and Arc II may not kick off until next year, depends on when I get things done.
- No Single Raindrop is being worked on, I’m waiting for Liara to tell me what to write next.
- The Cerberus Files: Aliens is currently in research mode for Batarians. This tends to be a lengthy process.
- The Cerberus Files: Humans is actually waiting on the Batarian section so I don’t contradict myself when talking about the Batarian conflict.
- Fear Unrelenting is done. The other stuff I mentioned exploring in the authors notes would have been either too spoilery or has been folded into new story ideas.
- Lions in Blue and Silver is sort of on hold as I’ve run into a block. Still working on it though.
- I’m in the process of drawing up the outlines for the Council Document as proposed by Seven Seven. Not coming this year, I don’t think.
Turian section finally done, now working on the Batarians
I’m very interested in feedback on the turians overall — do they ‘work’ or not?

More OSABC remastering and rank document image thing
Done up to chapter eight so far. Big thanks to thebluninja and liethr for helping out with that.
In addition, as kind of a primer on ranks, I did a document listing them all out in image format, along with the shoulder bars.
Remastering Of Sheep and Battle Chicken
I’ve hit a bit of writers block in several areas, and I need to rework some outlines. Progman is also very busy, as is Michael110.
Thus, for at least a little while, I’m going to be reworking and fixing up OSABC, clearing up the typos, redoing fuckups in tense selection, and especially augmenting earlier chapters where things don’t line up with later ones in terms of how the story evolved.
I’ve redone the first chapter already, to make it less suck and more interesting. If you have recommendations of things to fix, let me know!

The first set is from TheLivingShadow, who will be doing a series of panels covering Systems Alliance uniforms and armor. Leading off with the SA’s enlisted / junior / senior uniform distribution.
From left to right, that’s a corporal, a Lieutenant, and an Admiral of the Red.
