So in the most recent chapter, Tazzik has been apparently killed by a hacked freighter FTLing into the building he was in on Illium.
Given how dangerous he is in the Premiseverse, it seems odd to kill him off just by having TIM tell Shepard he got blown up. It also seems strange that Liara and Telanya would go quite that far to eliminate broker assets.
Then there’s the issue with him being on Omega when Shepard was.
      My theory:
-Broker flash-cloned Tazzik, and maybe had the clone augmented with cyberware to be more convincing.

-Broker hacked the freighter and executed the devastating attack on his own building and surrounding area in a false flag operation. He wouldn’t care about 10,000 dead after he just blew up far more with the reactor.

-This is done to make the Illium authorities go after the Sisters. Also since Tazzik is “dead”, he can do a surprise attack now.

      Other theory:
Flash cloning skipped, Broker blew up Tazzik as false flag attack for same reason above. Seems less likely.

Given that Tazzik was on Omega during the escape of Shepard, it should be fairly obvious that they took out a false body double.

The point of having it stroll around in the open was to make sure the reactor detonation that took out the Reclaimed Sisterhood had solved the problem. The fact that the copy was killed indicated it was not solved, which is why Tetrimus is headed there now since he is completely out of patience.

So the freighter definitely was Liara.

That should be interesting when she and Shepard eventually meet up.

Something tells me the Liara/Sara second edition of their relationship won’t be as smooth as the first. The recriminations alone will be horrible and given how Shepard thinks and acts when confronted with somebody who killed innocents, or just prayed on them…

Sara: I died and you decided to become a terrorist.

Liara: You have no right to judge me.

      Fun, fun, fun.

I’m really interested how the Council and the various powers that make Citadel Space will deal with the Broker vs SoV war on Illium.

The SA admirals already suspect the SoV, Archangel, Butcher are all connected somehow.

And we can’t forget the Collectors.

Let’s just say that when the news gets out, Collectors will haz a Very Angry.
