I know that this is quite a… sensitive subject to discuss with you LP. But know that there’s no offense intended, i’m just curious.
What is the status of the KKK? If they’re still around, how did they survived and what are their opinions on today’s world. If not, how were they dissolved?

Gonna go out on a limb here, and assume that, given the US government’s reaction to Montana announcing secession was “Fucking nuke the shit out of them,” and Victor’s, uh, enthusiastic, approach to dealing with dissidents, that the answers are “dissolved” and “violently.”
Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.

Considering the state religion of the Neo-Catholic Church and that one of the K’s in the KKK stood for Catholics, I think the Commissariat had something to say about them. And by something I mean “burn them alive.”

The oldest jobs that could be consider true professions are prostitutes, mercenaries, and brewers in that order. Money, sex, war, and drugs. I guess that tells you all you need to know about the human race. I don't know if I should be sad about that or scream HUMANITY FUCK YEAH!
Bitch, I'm wearing kinky boots and leather. Do you really think your going to win this fight?

Think that’s the most likely outcome. Trial by fire, thrown out the airlock, dumped outside an arcology in a particularly toxic region, or all of the above.

Some elements of the Klan ended up in EAGL and other organizations that were viciously purged from America by the SA over time, but the majority of the membership was probably killed in the Days of Iron. Southern America had the least amount of preparedness for disasters, low investments in support infrastructure, and waaay too many people who had long prepared for ‘teh end of the world’.
Racism in the modern-day SA is almost entirely sublimated except for a very slight bias (especially in business) for euro-chinese types, and extreme racism towards anyone with Brazilian heritage.
So much racial mixing occurred (by design, Victor Maxwell was an asshole on many levels but he was actually rather fond of dog breeding and felt the concept of hybrid vigour could be applied en masse to humanity) that ‘racism’ as we would understand it today would be almost incomprehensible to modern SA citizens.
I’m not sure if it’s sad or infuriating that I’m so cynical I think racism can’t be overcome except by the world literally being destroyed.

I’d also like to address this.
As a rule, as a black guy, I tend to see about 95% of claims of ‘racism’ as bullshit. Having been to Apartheid era South Africa and a few other charming destinations, I’m more aware than most what ‘real’ racism looks like.
I never want anyone to think they can’t discuss racial issues with me, although I would submit that it’s probably better done in PM or in the chat room (not that this question was inappropiate — I think it fits). In fact I’d much rather engage any form of that sort of discussion than avoid it, since I firmly believe the first step to moving past the bullshit is talking about it.
I also want to say that there’s nothing any of my readers can bring up that would piss me off — I’m grateful to each one of you for giving me some kind of … anchor to focus on considering the state of my life. If Quentin cannot get under my skin (and he cannot :p) then none of you can either 😀

… and extreme racism towards anyone with Brazilian heritage.
Now that you’ve mentioned it, why does it still last today. The Germans and Japanese had commited horrific atrocities in past (the Holocaust and Nanking Massacre reapectively) yet in a few years, everything seems to be forgiven (though some asians still resent the Japs). So what makes the Brazilian’s case different and to what extent is the racism?
PS: Since tosay’s Dec. 25, I would like the answers to my ‘Interogative Verficarion’ as a Christmas Gift please.

Because the USA needed Japan and Germany as allies against the USSR and partially rehabilitated their image to that end. The SA has no such needs and the Brazilians make an excellent scapegoat for the Days of Iron to the general public.
Many groups in the SA do not want anyone looking beyond the official line of history so having a convenient target for blame makes them happy and mollifies the general public. Who cares if a small ethnic group has shit lives because of it, their thinking of the big picture here … wink. (Of course the reason given to historians and scholars is “corrupt democracies” and “poor politicians” for those who want a more in depth answer to the Days of Iron.)
Read this article is you want details for the German propaganda campaign.
