      It says in the biotics document that you can’t have technology on its own using biotics because the random nature of bioelectricity is needed to produce the effects.

      Was thinking, could you get around this using quantum entanglement? Put some blueware in a drone vehicle of some kind, linked to a QEC, then have a biotic manipulate the other end of the QEC using an implant of some kind.

      Don’t know if it would be plausible or too expensive to be worth doing though.

      You could just as easily record the bioelectricity output of a biotic with an ammeter, then replay the recording to a current regulator with sufficient resolution and switching frequency.

      I prefer to think of this sentence as a Doylist explanation for why biotics must be born, not built.

      It’s more of the latter, yes. The Collectors use biotechnology to get around that limitation, as did the Protheans, the Inusannon, the Thorian, and of course the Leviathans.

      Eezo in the Premiseverse is supposed to be a farked up substance that giggles cutely at the rules of physics.
